        Summary: Pocket Invoice is an offline-first tool designed with privacy as its primary foundation. We do not require account creation, we do not operate user-data tracking servers, and we never collect, upload, or sell your business or client data. Everything you create stays strictly on your device.
      

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Sakhi Solution ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Pocket Invoice: Invoice Maker & Manager mobile application ("the App").

We are firmly committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines our data handling practices and your rights regarding the data you enter into the App.

2. Information You Create and Manage

The App allows you to create and manage commercial billing documents. To perform these functions, you may store the following information inside the App:

Business Profile Information: Company name, business email, contact number, registered address, tax/VAT/GST identification number, currency preferences, and logo images.
Client Records: Client names, phone numbers, email addresses, and billing/shipping addresses.
Product & Service Catalog: Item titles, unit descriptions, and pricing details.
Financial & Invoice Details: Invoice numbers, due dates, issue dates, itemized subtotals, applied taxes, discounts, signature images, and manual payment records.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored (Strictly On-Device)

All information entered into the App is stored exclusively within your device's local application sandbox using an embedded local database (Hive).

No Cloud Accounts: You do not need to register, log in, or provide credentials to use the App.
No Remote Servers: We do not host or operate servers that receive, process, sync, or backup your financial or customer data.
Total User Ownership: You retain full custody, ownership, and control over all information generated through the App.

Important Storage Notice: The local database and exported JSON backup files are stored as plain data on your device for fast offline access. We strongly recommend protecting your device with a secure lock screen (PIN, password, or biometrics) and keeping manual backup files in secure, trusted locations.

4. Device Permissions & Usage

The App requests only the minimal permissions required for core functionality:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS	Android 13+ Notification	To send local alerts for overdue invoices or optional weekly backup reminders scheduled directly on your device. No remote push server is involved.
File & Storage Access	System File Picker	Allows you to pick a company logo image, save generated PDF invoices, export CSV reports, or import/export manual backup files.

5. Sharing and Exporting Data

Data never leaves your device automatically. Data is only transmitted when you explicitly choose to share or export:

PDF Invoices & Receipts: When you generate a PDF and tap "Share", the App uses the standard system share dialog to send the file to an application of your choosing (such as your email client, messaging app, or printer).
CSV Reports: You can export summary reports in CSV format to your chosen local folder or sharing target.
Backup Files: You can export full JSON backups to restore your data on another device.

6. Third-Party Services & Analytics

No Analytics or Crash Reporting: The App contains no Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Flurry, or third-party telemetry libraries.
No Advertising Networks: The App contains no advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob or Unity Ads) and does not track you across apps or websites.
Google Fonts: The App bundles and references standard font assets (e.g. Inter/Outfit) for generating clean PDF documents. Any font asset downloads follow standard Google Fonts privacy guidelines.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all records exist strictly on your device, you have complete control over data retention:

Individual Record Deletion: You can edit or delete any invoice, client, item, or payment directly inside the App at any time.
Complete App Data Reset: You can wipe all data by clearing the app storage via your device settings (Settings > Apps > Pocket Invoice > Clear Storage/Data) or by uninstalling the application.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Pocket Invoice is intended for small business owners, freelancers, and independent contractors. The App is not directed toward children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in functionality or legal requirements. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
